Description

The Center for Public Justice is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 Preaching Reformed Fellowship

Deadline: June 15

The Preaching Reformed Fellowship exists for pastors who understand that justice and political discipleship matter but aren’t sure how their theology supports these efforts, how to step into the work of public witness, how to help their congregations develop a social imagination that includes caring for the whole world, or how any of that can be faithfully communicated in the pulpit. Preaching Reformed Fellowship is designed with the how questions in mind.

What does the fellowship include?

  • Opening and closing retreats in Washington, DC
  • A cohort of 15–20 pastors engaging shared challenges and questions
  • Nine online webinars featuring practitioners, including voices from the global church and historically marginalized communities
  • Monthly small group meetings (options include lectionary study, political theology, spiritual direction, or sermon coaching)
  • One-on-one mentorship to develop a “proclamation project” (previous participants created sermons, series outlines, workshops, or written resources)
